Auri Jackson is a writer-director based in Los Angeles. She is currently a Video Producer at BuzzFeed with a focus on the environment, known for “I Tried To Make Zero Trash For 30 Days” and "I Got 100 People To Stop Sucking." Jackson is a zero-waste enthusiast and hosts workshops in the LA area about how to move towards a zero-waste lifestyle. She was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and his foundation in 2018. Her last film, The Spot, won a craft award in screenwriting and the sole Faculty Commendation in Comedy at NYU's 2014 First Run Film Festival. The short premiered at the 2015 Marfa Film Festival, and screened at festivals worldwide. She also wrote and produced a web series called Ladywood with Dani Adaliz.
